Toyota Expands ASEAN Presence with All-New Vios Debut in Laos
Toyota Laos has introduced the all-new Vios in Laos, which is the first left-hand drive version of the Yaris Ativ, known as Yaris Ativ in Thailand. Laos is now the second market to launch the new model, following its earlier debut in Thailand in August 2022.
The new Vios in Laos is equipped with a different powerplant compared to its Thai counterpart, featuring a 1.3-liter 1NR-VE engine that delivers 98 PS and 122 Nm of torque. It offers two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and CVT.
This new left-hand drive Vios is supplied by Toyota Motor Thailand.
